The third vessel for Inverlussa built at Nauplius Workboats in Groningen, Isaac Eslea is largely the same as hull number 022 (Eloise Eslea) but without the shelter deck. She has the same installation onboard with an added 250 kWh battery for silent periods. The main benefit is that all generators can be switched off when the vessel isn’t being operated and sailed at night, making her entirely emission-free and silent for a period of ten hours. In addition to emission and comfort benefits, this significantly reduces the number of generator operating hours. The smart set-up of the installation means work can be performed onboard at minimum capacity, even when the batteries are used in port.
