Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology delivered the e-installation for the eco bulk carrier Arklow Wave of the Ferus Smit shipyard in Groningen. Piet Brouwer electrotechnology supplied the complete package from engineering, switchboards, wheelhouse console, axis generators, thrusters, alarm systems and fire detection systems. In addition, Piet Brouwer also realised the total installation and commissioning. With a length of 149.5 metres, a beam of 19.4 metres and 16,500 dwt, Arklow Wave is the first of four eco bulk carriers.
