Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology is currently busy working at a renowned Dutch yard on the major refit of a 75-metre superyacht. The ten-year-old motoryacht is undergoing an extensive makeover that includes rejuvenating the interior and repainting all areas of the exterior. The AV system is also being given a comprehensive upgrade which involves replacing over 15 kilometres of cable and installing the very latest technologies. All LED strips are being replaced inside and out with new strips and drivers, which represents a major challenge both for the Piet Brouwer team onboard the yacht and our purchasing department that must deliver everything required on-time.
In addition to these two major aspects of the project, the expertise of Piet Brouwer staff is being deployed on a long list of other tasks. These include the removal and subsequent reinstallation of all electrical components in the interior, a complex logistical operation that requires a great deal of precision. The excellent preparation work by the project leader and his team has ensured that the process has run smoothly to date and we expect everything to be rounded off soon to the client’s complete satisfaction.
