MS Eastern Rock

As the successor to MS Western Rock, Eastern Rock is the third vessel in the series and the 11th built by Hartman Shipbuilding. MS Eastern Rock is almost 93 metres long and has a roll-on roll-off system that allows cargo to be brought directly onboard without the use of a crane, as well as an open top enabling her to sail partly with open hatches.

Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology provided the engineering, the delivery and installation for the entire electrical system on this vessel and will supply the lighting package, navigation lights, fire detection system, tank measurement system & sensors and bow & sternthruster engines including control and internal communication systems. Piet Brouwer’s sister company Marble Automation supplied the alarm and monitoring system.
