Commercial Work: LED there be light

April 13th, 2018: From a new lighting system in the De Bron church building in Urk to a floating jetty in the port of Willemshaven in Harlingen. From the renovation of existing electrical systems and installation of new ones for the extension of Suplacon’s premises to replacing and expanding the intercom system at an office building for the owner Mercatus: Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has recently delivered a number of smart solutions for land-based projects.

The first involved replacing the lighting system in the De Bron church building in Urk with LED lights. LEDs were installed in the main church hall as well as the other rooms, corridors and toilets. Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology also replaced and expanded the intercom system at the office building Parkflat in Emmeloord for the owner Mercatus.

Another successful project was the renovation of existing electrical systems and installation of new ones for the extension of Suplacon’s premises in Emmeloord. Work is continuing on several other jobs, including the wiring for an access control system and additional power supplies for new machines.

Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology is also designing the electrical solution for a new building being constructed by Korf Vis in Urk. In addition to the electrical system itself, the company will deliver a consumer substation for the transition from the 10 kV grid of the operator Liander to the 10 kV grid of Korf Vis. A transformer will also be provided and positioned strategically on the upper floor, in the vicinity of the major consumers. Finally, Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology Harlingen is working on the construction of the electrical system on a new floating jetty in the port of Willemshaven in Harlingen. The installation of the power units at the workplace in Harlingen has advanced far enough that electricity and water mains could be fitted, connected and activated.
