New construction and renovations at Suplacon in Emmeloord

October 21st, 2017: Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology has been the in-house electrical installation partner for Suplacon in Emmeloord for over 20 years. When the metalworking company decided to expand its premises, requiring existing electrical systems to be renovated and new ones fitted, it therefore turned to Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology to support the project.

First, Suplacon built a new hall for the machining and folding department, where the folding machines, lathes and milling equipment are located. This new hall includes an office. The department was moved into the newly built halls before the construction workers’ holiday, concluding the new build phase of the work.

Renovations are currently underway on Suplacon’s existing halls. A new location was prepared for the stainless-steel welding department, for instance, while the steel department was completely overhauled and the shipping and warehousing department moved. All these new workplaces were provided with electrical connections by Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology. New lighting lines with LED fixtures were fitted throughout the site, and can be operated from a single central location.

Thanks in part to the flexibility of Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology’s employees, Suplacon could operate at almost full capacity throughout the renovation.
