Turnkey power plant for brewery in Cambodia

June 15th 2016: Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology developed and delivered a fully automated 6MVA power plant to a production facility of the largest Dutch beer brewery in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The project, which involved six Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology employees over a period of 18 months, was successfully completed in late May.

Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology supplied two 1500kVA gensets, all fuel and cooling circuits, a fully automated synchronisation panel, step up transformers and an MV distributor for the 6MVA turnkey power plant. The entire plant can be remotely monitored and controlled via internet or HMI.

For the same client, Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology had already delivered a similar system for breweries in Kilinto (Ethiopia), Pointe Noire (Congo), Brazzaville (Congo), Bukavu DR (Congo), Kisangani DR (Congo), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Panama City.

Based on the success of the brewery in Cambodia, Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology was recently commissioned to expand the power plant with an extra 1500kVA genset.
