In early January 2015, Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology was commissioned by Coldstore Netherlands BV (a subsidiary of the AGRO Merchants Group) to provide the electrical system for its phase VI extension. Piet Brouwer has already provided the systems for the previous phases in 2001, 2004 and 2008.
In addition to the low voltage system for the cooling, the pallet transport system, the mobile racks and LED lighting, we will also provide the medium voltage system for supplying the transformer from the previous phases, and deliver and install a new transformer for this and future extensions.
The first pile ceremony took place on 19 February 2015, and Coldstore hopes to start using the extension in mid-September 2015.
